Roboris is pleased to announce the release 6 of Eureka, its powerful Virtual Machining software environment.
Eureka 6 will be available for shipping to end users and OEM’s by the next month of June.
The new version adds a broad range of enhancements to both the ISO simulation and the Robot programming.
On the G-code simulation side, Eureka 6 improves the performances for all the available controllers. The Roeders controller has been added to the library.
The material removal algorithm has been improved to ensure the right balance between performances, accuracy and robustness.
The analytical technology allows to simulate operations on very large workpieces with an accuracy of 1/10000 inch or better.
On the Robot side, new Hyundai, Nachi and Mitsubishi postprocessors have been added to the library, while new functionalities have been introduced. For example, the path can now be interactively captured directly from the imported 3D model.
The command “Restart from Here” is now available also with the option of updating the stock.
3D sections of any geometry can be created, allowing for punctual measurements on significant sections.
A new license management system offers great flexibility, including the option of managing licenses on virtual servers.
Last but not least, the integration with EurekaMobile and EurekaCloud has been improved at both API and user interface level.
“Eureka 6 is a major step forward for us”, says Mirko Sgarbi, Roboris co-founder. “We have paid great attention to integration with other software packages, to flexibility and to extendibility to OEM solutions. For example, Eureka 6 allows to create C# or VB Net plugins to customize the application to specific needs. I am confident that the many new features will further increase the productivity of our end users and will make it even easier for our OEM’s to integrate our libraries.”
