Roboris is pleased to announce that it has signed a Partnership Agreement with Vero Software to embed its Eureka Virtual Machining technology into VISI 21, Vero’s fully integrated CAD/CAM solution for the mold & die industries.
Under the agreement, the new tool path simulation provided by VISI will be based on the Eureka libraries, with the ability to include the Eureka G-code simulation as an option to its CAM solution for all available controllers such as Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens, Num, OSAI, Z32, Fidia, Selca, and many others. Accurate ISO simulation avoid the potential risks of damaging expensive work pieces, breaking tools or even crashing a CNC machine because of programming errors.
“Our business development strategy is based on partnerships within three main channels: CAD/CAM companies, Machine Tool makers, and OEM’s”, says Gianluca Bioli, Roboris co-founder. “Signing this agreement with Vero Software is an important step in becoming a leading provider of virtual machining libraries to the industry. We are confident that their huge user base will appreciate the additional functionalities provided by Eureka technology.”
“The Eureka capabilities are a valuable addition to our current CAM offering”, adds Richard Youhill, VISI General Manager. “We are now able to provide a powerful management and simulation of rapid motions between toolpaths, and to simulate machines with more than 5 axes. Most importantly, being able to manage the ISO output provides our users with an enhanced and accurate virtual representation of the part, before committing the toolpath to the machine.”
