PAMA Shanghai is simulating with Eureka G-Code in the showroom for the Vertiram Gantry Machine… and we were there!
PAMA is a global leader in the production of large boring, milling and machining centers.
Over the years PAMA has adapted to the market with continuous development of new high-tech products that meet the needs of its customers. Alongside consolidated products such as Speedram hydrostatic boring machines and Speedmat machining centers, they have projected the Vertiram portal machining centers and the recent Speedmat VM machining centers.
One of PAMA’s strengths is to provide its customers not only with a machine tool but with complete turnkey solutions.
PAMA has also installed Vertiram, large gantry machine, in its Shanghai plant, and decided to use Eureka G-Code for simulation to ensure safe and accurate production.
As an example for standard production, the machine is also tasked with standardizing the process and showcasing to the customers.
Eng. Francesco Minutillo, Production Engineering Manager, explains: “After a comparative analysis with other simulation software, we chose Eureka for some simple but fundamental reasons:
1. The ease of installation and use of the software;
2. The ability to simulate machines with complex kinematics such as those that we produce in Pama and use in our workshop;
3. The possibility of simulating parametric programs using advanced Siemens functions ;
4. The excellent and timely technical support that Roboris provides;
In my opinion, when you decide to purchase complex and specialized software, the support that the manufacturer is able to provide must be carefully evaluated, as this can be the key factor for the success or failure of the entire implementation project. ”
